Support Mowi’s own Jim Freiss and the great people at Puppy Ride Long Island. Jim embarked upon this charitable endeavor after losing his younger brother John. His brother had been partnered with a Seeing Eye® dog, a wonderful Labrador retriever named Hero. Jim saw how much Hero enriched his brother’s life by giving him his independence back. After John passed, Hero was retired and went to live with Jim. Puppy Ride Long Island was born to fundraise and grow awareness through endurance events for the guide dogs at The Seeing Eye, Inc. 100% of the charitable donations they receive go directly to The Seeing Eye, Inc. to support their operating budget and endowment. The Seeing Eye® is a charitable organization whose mission is to enhance the independence, dignity, and self-confidence of blind people through the use of Seeing Eye dogs.

The great people at Good Karma rescue dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, breeds, and medical conditions and work towards finding them safe and happy furever homes. Their purpose is to save as many dogs,cats and on occasion others, as possible. They manage donations very carefully to maximize contributions to spend them where it matters. This South Florida organization not only supports adoptable pets but have programs in place to help terminally ill pets, unadoptable pets, struggling pet owners and pet parents in need of affordable routine veterinary care from their Good Karma Pet Clinic.
